Adair's Saloon is celebrating its 46th birthday Sunday. If you've never been, it is the gem of Deep Ellum. Real honky tonks do exist. This place has been my main haunt for about 18 years, so you know it has class.

Starting at 2PM they'll have a crawfish boil going, and music starts around 5PM with the King Bucks (damn good band). Cheap beer flows all day.

Anyway, myself and a few other Fliipers can be spotted there, so come on out and see why the February issues of D Magazine and Southern Living fell in love with this place.
