Dressel Divers International is known thanks to its high level of quality, seriousness and safety and it is recognized as "PADI 5 STAR Resort".
ALL our dives are guided by PADI Instructors.

We are a private company that was chosen by the Iberostar hotel chain to be the exclusive on site dive operator. We now service 19 Iberostar hotels in different countries.

PLEASE NOTE that if your last dive was longer than a year ago, you will have to do an obligatory Pool Check ( 30 USD ).
If you prefer you can do a Scuba Review ( 100 USD ) which includes some theory, a pool check and 1 dive.

Enclosed you will find a complete product description and a price list (at the end of the message) with the information you requested. When you let me know about the dive / snorkel services that you are interested in, I will respond by sending you a detailed quotation. Please also mention if you need any equipment.

DIVE SITES
Dressel Divers offers you app. 15 different dive sites where we can take you to from your Iberostar hotel dock.
Among the sites we visit for example are Palancar, Colombia and Santa Rosa.
It takes approximately 10 minutes by boat to get to each dive site.
We always try to make sure that you do not repeat dive sites unless you specifically require so.

There are no shore dives as we are in Marine Park area where shore diving is not permitted.

We also offer a double tank dive trip to the Riviera Maya every Thursday and several trips each week to the Cenotes caverns.

NOTE: In order to dive with us you have to be a certified diver or a student of one of our courses.
Please bring your certification card and logbook, and if you have or have had any medical problems, a statement from your doctor that you are fit to dive ( medical statement + guidelines available by email if needed )

PRICES

We are glad to inform you that we offer a 15% discount on dive and snorkel services if you pay before arrival.

You do not have to plan your dive dates and times before arrival;
You plan your diving when you get there with our dive centre staff that will advice you on a schedule that will suit your needs and possible plans for other activities.

Paying before arrival, which offers you the 15% discount, can be done by credit card or bank transfer.
In order to enjoy this discount, your reservation + according payment have to be arranged at least 3 days before your arrival, not counting the weekend. You can make reservations by email or phone; we will be happy to call you. (Please take into account that our Reservations Department at our head quarters in Spain is not open during the weekend.)
After the prepayment we send you a detailed invoice which will serve as your voucher.
We will then also contact our dive shop to let them know of your arrival and the diving services you paid for.

This is the only package where different divers can share the same package;

THE GORILLA PACKAGE
For the diver who wants to see it all, DRESSEL DIVERS designed a package that covers all of the best diving in Mexico.
There are 2 incredibly beautiful diving areas in this zone: The world famous reefs at COZUMEL. and the CENOTES in the Yucatan jungle. This GORILLA PACKAGE offers you all of it!

1 excursion to the RIVIERA MAYA with 2 CENOTE DIVES, including transfers, a snack, beverages, use of lamp and thicker wetsuit if needed, entrance fee and guide.
1 NIGHT DIVE in Cozumel with the use of lamp and glowstick.
8 SINGLE DIVES to the Cozumel reefs, leaving from the hotel by boat.
PRICE USD 550.- ( 467.50 USD if you pay before arrival )

Additional costs to be paid on site ;
Cozumel marine park contribution of 2 USD per day per person
Hyperbaric chamber contribution of 1 USD per tank

Please take into account that unless you are a very experienced diver that has been diving recently, your first dive with us cannot be a wall dive.

Prerequisites for all dives; being a certified Open Water diver or equivalent or a Dressel student.
IMPORTANT: always bring your Certification + LogBook.
If you have or have had any medical problems, please bring a statement from your doctor that says FIT TO DIVE ( medical statement + guidelines available by email if needed )

NITROX DIVE: We offer you Nitrox for FREE.
The Enriched Air Nitrox specialty course costs 159 USD + 40 USD for a PADI P.I.C. that you need for registration with PADI > a total of 199 USD or 169.15 USD when paying before arrival.
Diving with enriched air lets you: Stay underwater longer and get back into the water sooner!
Prerequisites: OW diver or equivalent, minimum age 15 years old

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Looking for the ultimate adventure? You found it! PADI ‘s Advanced Divers program fine-tunes your dive skills and allows you to explore all that diving has to offer.
DRESSEL OFFERS YOU THIS COURSE FOR FREE !!!
Simply use 5 of dives from a standard package, and just buy the book and the PADI registration card (PIC).

The Advanced course offers you a structured program where you gain additional experience and skills under the guidance of a DRESSEL DIVERS Instructor. If you are at least 12 years or older and a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or equivalent), then you are ready for the PADI Advanced Open Water program. Complete the Deep and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dives and three additional Adventure Dives (five total) and earn a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
Divers between the ages of 12-14, who complete these dives, can earn a PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver rating.

Duration: the time you need for 5 dives + approximately 3 hours of self-study which you can do on the beach as if you where reading a book !
Adventure dives: 5 from the following:
Deep Diving ( Obligatory ), Underwater Navigation ( Obligatory ), Wreck Diving, Night Diving, Drift Diving, Project Aware

You just pay for the materials, and we give you the course for free !!!!!
The required 5 dives you take from your package.
You pay the PIC ( PADI registration fee for your certification ) of 40 USD,
and the course materials at 80 US$.
Prerequisites: Certified Open Water Diver or equivalent from a different organization.

RIVIERA MAYA DIVE EXCURSION (1/2 day, 2 tanks)

We take you to the mainland by ferry where we dive the Mama Viña shipwreck and Tortugas.

Meeting time: 08.00AM
Takes place: Every Thursday
Price: 90 USD or 76.50 USD when paying before arrival. The 2 dives you do are not included and come from your package.

BULL SHARK DIVE EXCURSION (1/2 day, 2 tanks)

We take you to the mainland by ferry where we do 1 wonderful dive with bull sharks.
( No guarantee that we see them but 99% of the time we do ! )
After lunch ( included ) we do 1 more dive at a great local site called Tortugas ( translation is Turtles ).

Price: 120 USD or 102 USD when paying before arrival. The 2 dives you do are not included and come from your package.
When ? Thursdays and Saturdays during winter months ; November, December, January, February until mid-March.
Prerequisites:
Open Water or Junior Open Water certification ( min. age 12 y.o.) or equivalent.
We require that you do a regular dive first so we can check you abilities as a diver.

YUCATAN CENOTES DIVE EXCURSION (1/2 day, 2 tanks)
Be prepared to recover your regulator quickly!
It may fall out of your mouth in astonishment as result of seeing so much beauty.
Let us show you the beauty of these fresh water caverns in the Yucatan jungle.
Admiring the breathtaking limestone formations of these caverns is an exclusive privilege of the lucky few divers that get to enter the Cenotes.
You will see beams of sunlight penetrating the fresh water cavern shafts, creating a magic light show.
Visibility up to 60 meter/ 200 feet is not uncommon, giving you the impression that you are floating in mid-air!

The Cenotes we visit are caverns, not caves, which have sufficient sections where access to the surface is always possible.
The cenotes can therefore be enjoyed by certified divers with normal equipment configuration, as long as they are accompanied by a Dressel Divers Cenote guide, and have good buoyancy control.

Takes place: Every day at request except on Sunday.
Price: 120 USD for the excursion or 102 USD when paying before arrival. The 2 dives you use come from your package or you pay them separate.

Includes:
Two way transport from IBEROSTAR COZUMEL HOTEL, by taxi and ferry, to Playa del Carmen and by car on to the Cenote area. Use o lamp and wetsuit. Entrance fee for 2 different Cenotes. Guidance by a professional Cavern Diving guide. Snack and soft drinks. DIVES NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE > you use them from your package or buy loose single dives.

Prerequisites:
Open Water or Junior Open Water ( min. age 12 y.o.) certification or equivalent. We require that you do a regular dive first.

NIGHT DIVE:

We do a night dive every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

A night dive costs 55 USD ( 46.75 USD if paid before arrival ) without equipment and cannot be taken out of a package.
You need night equipment which consist of a lamp (18 USD to rent > 15.30 USD if paid before arrival ) and a glow stick (6 USD > 5.10 USD if paid before arrival ).
If you need regular full equipment rental as well, this costs 18 USD extra as normal -15% if you pay before arrival.

PRIVATE DIVES:

For those who want to enjoy their dives to the maximum on their own.
Conditions and prerequisites are the same as for the single dives.

Price before discount: 165 USD per single dive without equipment rental and 183 USD per dive with equipment rental.

All prices for dives ( two tank, single or packages ) include the following: Tank, weight belt, weights, boat and dive guide.
They do not include dive equipment rental , obligatory contribution for the Hyperbaric Chamber of 1 USD per dive nor the Marine Park Entrance Fee of 2 USD per day.

EQUIPMENT ( 15% prepayment discount also applies on equipment rental ! )

If you bring your own gear, you can rent a LOCKER.
It closes with a chain and lock. We just charge you 5 USD for a lock, which you get to take home afterwards.

EQUIPMENT SINGLE ITEM RENTAL:
Price: 6 USD per item and single dive.
If you are missing only part of your equipment, you can rent the equipment per item.
We never charge you more than 3 items.
Rental Items are:
Buoyancy Compensating Device (BCD) / Regulator set with SPG, octopus and low-pressure inflator
Wet suit / Fins, mask and snorkel / DIN Adapter ( we use INT so if you have a DIN regulator we can offer you an adapter )

For night dives; glow sticks we sell for USD 6, lamps we rent for 18 USD
Dive computers 18 USD per dive. Availability depending on demand.
We do not rent cameras. We do sell disposable under water cameras.

A regular dive includes the following; Tank, weight belt, weights, boat and dive guide.

FULL EQUIPMENT RENTAL:
Price: 18 USD per single dive, 36 USD per two-tank dive ( prepayment discount also applies on equipment rental ! )
Includes: wet suit, regulator with Submersible Pressure Gauge, octopus and low pressure inflator, mask, fins and snorkel and BCD.

WHALE SHARK EXCURSION ( full day )

Come with us to CONTOY island to snorkel besides the amazing Whale Sharks !

These impressive creatures are only there during a couple of months a year. ( We offer this trip from May until app mid September ).

Besides a 4 hour boat trip during which we will look for and swim with Whale Sharks, you get to enjoy the tranquil beach of Contoy Island.

Price: 220 USD
This trip takes place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. (No prepayment discount applies but because of the small groups we can only guarantee availability if you pay before arrival)
You take the 05:00 AM ferry and we pick you up from the ferry pier.

SNORKELING
You get an hour free snorkel use per day to snorkel form the beach of your hotel.
Upon request we can give you more time as long as the demand for the equipment allows this.
In case the non-diver wants to see more, we offer several snorkel trips from the hotel as well.
On the snorkelling excursion that leaves at 13:30 every afternoon, divers and snorkellers go on the same boat.
While the divers dive two tanks at different reefs, the snorkellers also see the same two reefs.
Snorkellers are guided by a professional snorkel guide. We have comfortable floating snorkel jackets that make you even enjoy more !
This is certainly a great trip to share with travel partners that are not divers !

DRESSEL DIVERS REFUND POLICY > valid for reservations paid before arrival

* In case of cancellation of dive/snorkel activities by DRESSEL DIVERS ( caused by bad weather or lack of participants ),
we will refund the amount paid for the services that you did not enjoy, if there is no possibility to reschedule. For unused free dives offered as a gift with packages, you will receive a voucher.
* If you are not able to dive because of a medical reason (with obligatory doctor’s confirmation note that should be handed in on site), we will refund the amount paid for the services that you

did not enjoy. For unused free dives offered as a gift with packages, you will receive a voucher.
* If, on site, you decide to cancel your already planned activity, due to any other reasons( with at least 24 hours notice), we can reschedule or you will receive a voucher for

the prepaid and not enjoyed services.
* If on site you decide to not use the paid services, you receive a voucher, no refund.
* If you do not show up for your scheduled activity, you have no right to a refund or a voucher.
* If your holiday is cancelled, we offer a full refund minus 3% admin fees as long as you provide us with a copy of your flight or hotel cancellation confirmation.
Please note;
* If you purchased a Gorilla Package or a two-tank package and a refund applies, we will calculate the value of the services that you did enjoy,
and refund the difference between the original payment and the consumed value.
* Vouchers are valid for 3 years and to be used at any Dressel Divers dive centre in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Jamaica.
* If a refund applies, we return the funds towards the credit card that you used to prepay your package with.
You will have to claim your refund with us via email within 1 month after your return.
