I have one observation thus far, but it's not about the new forum. It SEEMS like every time I get to 100 posts, the message board is somehow moved/deleted/given back to cyber space, etc. Hehe, I'm having great vibes about this board however, and the features it came with seem to rock! Maybe I should upload a few photos from say the tubing trip from last year to see how that turns out. I'm sure it'll all be great just as soon as we all get used to the new system. Thanks to both Matt and Jeff for getting this back up and running. smile.gif

Many thanks to Matt. I'm just the man behind the curtain. Pay no attention to me.

Matt might have set most of it up, but you're the one that'll be moderating and such; thanky thanky! It's a team effort, how about that? BTW, I put a few photos up from Cozumel instead of the tubing trip due to the fact that those were the only ones I have on my laptop. I already moved the House Boat and Tubing trip photos to my external drive... darn 80gig internal laptop drives! Anyhow, those came out pretty good I think. 500k should be okay for now on the upload size, and I'm sure that the dialup-junkies will appreciate the smaller page views. Oh yeah, nice Poll.... everyone go vote!

Well it seems Michael has gotten upset with having his own servers and now has moved everything to GO Daddy.com. I think this will probably be a very wise move. This should keep things like the board dying a quick death every few months to either a minimum or never again. I did e-mail Matt and say that the link on the home page does not seem to get you to the message board.
Anybody else having this same problem...

I was just approved by the All Mighty All powerful Super Human Moderator so now I can join in the conversations.

Everything seems to be working fine for me. Hosting your own servers can be a pain at times, and I really think that this move will be a good one for the club at the very least. Maybe this evening I'll try uploading a video to the forum and see how it all works just to test another area, but so far so good.... this board rocks!

Ye of little faith! >:o Take that back! I think that things were pretty good on the other forum, but I think that the time of year (Winter) had something to do with "diving fever". This is a much more powerful board; give it time young grasshopper.

i wasnt meaning that to be negative.....i was just noting that it was slightly on the inactive side, minus the number of spam accounts, but am really really looking forward to getting every back on and active again. I also hope that people will actually post besides just a small handfull of people IE: Dustin, Jeff, Micheal, Kevin, Matt, Diane, etc.
